OntheBoards.tv presents a first for the site – a filmed installation. In September 2011 SuttonBeresCuller, Seattle’s leading art collective, premiered an installation/performance that transformed On the Boards' building from a recognizably respectable institution to a delightfully convoluted artistic tangle with unconventional surprise performances at every turn.
The immersive experience has been captured here in a 30 minute experimental film which combines footage from 4 very different nights of an installation that was created to lead each attendee through a personal journey. See everything from the piano lounge to the sculptures and some Craigslist’s performers to maybe even yourself.
